As a company we want our people and our clients to be treated as one. We want Thunderbox to stand for something tangible and our service model supports us in becoming industry leading.

Understanding we are not there just to clean and service toilets but to also show we care, Thunderbox strives to replace any previous negative experiences in this space with positive outcomes for both our clients and our people.

Providing service to the community and industries we work in by ‘giving back’, gives us a sense of pride and purpose.

Our Wellness messaging comes from an understanding we are bound by our core values to help bridge the gap between being in a dark place and taking those first steps to reach out for help.
Thunderbox prides itself on giving back to our community and came up with an idea. If someone in the privacy of our toilets was to read our ‘Mates in Construction’ messaging this may encourage them to call a ‘mate’.
If we honestly know some people are struggling, then we need to work hard to spread the message of ‘Mates in Construction’, supporting our communities and clients where needed.
Our messaging is written in the languages of Te Reo, English, Filipino and Mandarin.
Trees That Count
Trees That Count are a conservation charity bringing together businesses, community and everyday Kiwis, with the vision of helping plant millions of native trees across the country.
Being involved is this charity dates back many years with Thunderbox’s owner. The family was one of the founding members of the ‘Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi Island’, which is now recognised as a world class rehabilitation project for native New Zealand flora and fauna. Thunderbox is a registered tree funder of the charity ‘Trees That Count’ and we donate trees for planting throughout NZ on behalf of all our clients.
